Thank you God, for guiding Unity of Washington, DC

to its right and perfect sacred space.

Ever mindful of God's purpose,

we boldly step into our expanded good.

Filled with renewed energy, generosity and faith,

we now manifest all the resources to maintain our current church home and enter into our new home with Abundant Prosperity!

Our transition is smooth, easy, joyful and in Divine Order.

We each do our part to contribute to

the success of this God ordained blessing.

The Miracle is Unfolding.

And so it is.

The Vision of Unity of Washington, DC

Our vision is to become a premier Center for Spiritual Education, Enlightenment and Empowerment. Think of how your life has been transformed by the powerful message of Truth... what a blessing it would be to enable others to experience living a positive, affirmative life.

Our vision is limited only by our current physical space, and not by our ability to perceive the possibilities and potential for Unity of Washington, DC.

  • An Enrichment Institute - providing outreach programs focusing on children and families by establishing keys for positive living through effective skills in parenting, conflict resolution, self-esteem development and life management.

  • A Holistic & Wellness Institute - addressing the social, emotional, psychological and physical aspects of wellness, utilizing alternative and spiritual approaches to healing.

  • An Educational Institute - empowering persons through classes, workshops, retreats and spiritual programs, as well as serving as a venue for nationally known spiritual teachers and speakers.

  • A Community School - housing creative arts, a computer training center, an afterschool tutoring and mentoring program, and activities for the growth and development of children.

    Our new sacred space will also allow us to increase administrative and ministerial staff to support our vision and initiatives.

    What is our financial goal?

     

    In January of 2006, Unity of Washington, DC, became the proud owners of our new Sacred Space at 1225 R Street NW. We will move into the new facilities in 2009. To enter into our new home with Abundant Prosperity, our goal is to raise $3 million dollars over the next 18 months. It is our hope that all campaign commitments will be honored and met prior to our moving to our new sacred space.

     

    What is the importance of Abundant Prosperity?

     

    Our desire is to move into the new facility with Abundant Prosperity! We at Unity believe in abundance and this is an opportunity to demonstrate our faith and our truth. Debt creates debt and demonstrates a belief in lack which is in contradiction to the spiritual law of abundance.

    Building Fund Commitment Pledge

    BANK DRAFT

    For those of you who have requested to have your commitment paid by bank draft, please contact your bank and arrange to use its bill paying services. At your direction, the bank will make automatic withdrawals from your account and mail a check to Unity in the amount and at the intervals that you specify.

    DIRECT DEBIT

    For those of you who have requested to have Unity automatically withdraw your commitment pledge from your bank account, you must submit a Voided Check and sign an Authorization Card. 

     

    The Authorization Card can be printed from this website or picked up in the church office. Upon receipt we will apply the amount received toward your total pledge as represented by your signed commitment card.

     

    CREDIT CARD

    For those of you who have requested to have Unity automatically charge your commitment pledge from your credit card, you must submit and sign an Authorization Card.
